Our organisation was founded on volunteer support and we really appreciate your interest in joining us. Here’s a little about what you need to know before you start!

The Kids League volunteers are offered work experience placements in Uganda on the following understanding:

  • Overseas volunteers must have a return air fare and be able to support themselves whilst in Uganda.

At present , (May 2010) volunteers are advised that they should budget for accommodation costs/per room of *200,000/- per month (economies can be made from sharing rooms) and food costs of a minimum of *200,000/- per month.  Exchange rates fluctuate so please ask for updated details.

  • Volunteers must possess a current, valid Visa which permits their volunteer activities in Uganda.
